News24 | Electoral Court fines parties for failing to provide audited financial statements to IEC

On 10 May, the Electoral Court in Bloemfontein ordered a number of political parties to pay administrative fines of either R10 000 or R40 000 for failing to provide audited financial statements to the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) in terms of the Political Parties Funding Act.
