A company in the southwestern Chinese city of Chongqing claims to have built two sterilizing systems within two days that spray workers at an industrial complex with disinfectant before they start work, said the China News Service report.
The company says the tunnel is equipped with infrared detectors that activate a spray from misters when a person enters.
The report said it can take 10 to 20 seconds to spray a person.
A manager of the company told China News Service that the mist is produced by medical disinfectant, and the system has a motor to pump out the liquid when needed.
He also added that the two disinfectant facilities can meet the needs of at least 1,000 people.
