Gaza doctors battle power outages with head lamps and car batteries

Doctors in the Gaza Strip are using head lamps to perform surgery due to power outages, says Ahmad Mhanna, a doctor at the Al Awda hospital in the north of the territory.

Health facilities in the besieged strip are overwhelmed and medical stocks in short supply as they are increasingly targeted by attacks, according to a report from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
