“Bridge-Building Apologetics: How to Get Along Even When We Disagree”

In 1 Peter, the Apostle, Peter was writing to believers who were persecuted for their faith.

In the midst of the suffering, he told them not to be fearful or troubled, “but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.” (1 Peter 3:15) Gentleness and respect is sometimes a difficult commodity to come by, but we find Jesus, Peter and Paul building bridges.
